Expressions of Interest now open

We are calling for Expressions of Interest for up to eight positions on the Industry and Consumer Reference Group (ICRG) for the upcoming year.

Successful members are appointed by the Minister for Energy and Resources to represent the industry and consumers in the residential solar industry in Victoria, as the ICRG moves into its fourth full year of operation.

Solar Victoria established the ICRG in October 2019 to provide input on the effective delivery of the Solar Homes Program, including the sustainable development of the solar industry in Victoria.

The ICRG demonstrates Solar Victoria’s commitment to working closely with the solar industry and consumers.

Members must commit to attending regular half day meetings (every two months – subject to requirements) and in the case of industry representatives, it is expected that members will consult widely within their industry networks to help inform Solar Victoria’s Solar Homes Program.

Who should apply?

The Victorian Government is committed to ensuring that government boards and committees reflect the rich diversity of the Victorian community. We encourage applications from a wide range of applicants and are looking to select a balanced group of members to ensure diverse representation, encompassing:

  • small, medium and large retailers
  • rural, regional and metro areas
  • gender and age diversity
  • cultural diversity
  • installers
  • manufacturers/wholesalers/distributors
  • energy consumer representatives.

Please note that current appointees to the ICRG can re-apply.
