Lower energy costs with both solar PV and solar hot water rebates

The Solar Homes Program is supporting eligible Victorian households to save even more on energy bills. Learn more about how new and existing customers can now apply for both solar panel PV and solar hot water rebates.

Solar for Business Program

Solar for Business rebates will remain at $3,500 until all rebates for have been fully allocated. When the current amount is allocated the maximum value will be $1,750 thereafter. Businesses also have the option of an interest-free loan.

Solar panel (PV) rebate

Solar panel rebates are available of up to $1,400 plus the option of an interest-free loan. New and existing solar PV customers can also apply for a solar hot water rebate.

Eligible households can claim a discount on the cost of installing a solar battery system.

Solar rebates for rental properties

We’re making sure renters can also benefit from solar. A rebate of up to $1,400 is available for rental properties, subject to a lease agreement with renters.

We are bringing the next evolution of solar energy to Victoria, by launching a new pilot program that brings virtual power plants to your doorstep.
