This training has ended. Since 2022, over 600 electricians and fourth-year apprentices have completed this training.

This fully subsidised solar and battery training provided eligible electricians and fourth-year electrical apprentices with the skills and knowledge to become:
- a qualified solar photovoltaic (PV) designer and installer; or
- a battery storage system (BSS) designer and installer.
It also led to becoming accredited by Solar Accreditation Australia.

Installers need to complete this safety training before registering with us and completing any installations under our program.
