Solar panels
Save with the sun by installing solar panels to power electric appliances in your home. Our customers save up to $1,000 a year on energy bills with solar panels by using their solar and avoiding retail electricity prices.

Hot water systems
Tap into savings by upgrading to an energy-efficient hot water system. You could save up to $330 per year by replacing a gas hot water system with a quality heat pump.

Thinking about a battery?
While the Commonwealth Government has rebates available for batteries, don’t forget you can also get a solar panel rebate and supercharge your savings.
Ready to put the sun to work?
You may be eligible for help with the upfront costs of installing solar panels or an energy-efficient hot water system at your home. Get started in 3 simple steps.
Learn more about applying for the $1,400 solar panel rebate and interest-free loan, the $1,400 hot water rebate for locally made hot water products, or the $1,000 rebate for other hot water products.

1. Check your eligibility
You could be eligible if your household taxable income is less than $210,000 per year, your property is valued at less than $3 million, and the property hasn’t received the same rebate before.

2. Find a retailer
To claim a rebate you need to use one of our authorised retailers. This ensures you get a quality product, installed safely by a trained professional.

3. Apply
Once you’ve got quotes and chosen a retailer, lodge your rebate application online. You’ll need to provide a few documents to help us confirm your eligibility.
