NECA 2020 Virtual Conference and Tradeshow

Our Director, Risk, Assurance and Standards Paul Corkill covered all things safety and quality at the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) 2020 Virtual Conference and Tradeshow on Thursday 26 November 2020.

‘Safety is a shared responsibility – retailers are as responsible as installers in the Solar Homes Program,’ Corkill said.

‘Licensed electrical inspectors are also an important fundamental in ensuring a solar system is safe. They should be helping to address any potential issues before they become a real problem or are uncovered in an audit.’

Solar Victoria is currently working with Energy Safe Victoria, which is conducting a review into Licenced Electrical Inspectors.
